It’s Carnival time again! Get ready for vibrant costumes, masquerade bands, and plenty of reggae and Soca music. Tickets and additional information available at www.MiamiBrowardCarnival.com

Kings & Queens / Steel Band Panorama
When: Friday, Oct. 11, 5:30 p.m. - 11 p.m.
Where: Carnival Village at Central Broward Regional Park, 3700 NW 11th Pl, Lauderhill
Tickets: $12 advance and more at the park
Performances by Lauderhill Steel Ensemble, Miami Pan Symphony, New Generation Branches, Pantastic Steel, Resurrection Steel and Silver Stars USA.

Black & White Under the Stars
When: Friday, Oct. 11, 9 p.m. – 4 a.m.
Where: Dezer Car Museum, 2000 NE 146th Street, North Miami
Tickets: $55 at Caribbean outlets, $57 online
Isle of Rhumb Promotions hosts their annual Carnival party with free drinks all night long. Black and white attire encouraged.

J’Ouvert
When: Saturday, Oct. 12, 7 a.m.
Where: Central Broward Regional Park, 3700 NW 11th Place, Lauderhill
Tickets: $12 advance and more at the park
Experience a true Caribbean J’ouvert featuring a Stel Band and DJ, body paint, mud, water, and powder. Over 20 masquerade bands participating.

Soca Xplosion
When:
Saturday, Oct. 12, 10 p.m. until
Where: The Armory, 400 SW 24th St, Ft. Lauderdale
Tickets: $40 in advance at Joan’s Kitchen 2479 N State Rd 7, Lauderhill, (954) 607-2036
Party the night away with a night of all of the Soca legends including, Boots & The Awesome Jamband, King Onyan & Burning Flames, Big Shaw, Volume International XL, and more.

Parade of the Bands
When: Sunday, Oct. 13, Gates open at 11 a.m. and the parade starts at noon
Where: Sun Life Stadium, 2267 NW 199th St., Miami Gardens
Tickets: $22 in advance and more at the gate, children under 12 are free. VIP Tickets: $100 online
Over 20 masquerade bands will participate in a two mile street parade within Sun Life Stadium and compete for Band of the Year bragging rights. This year’s costumes will showcase a spectacular riotous blend of colors, pageantry and fantasy.

Live Concert After Party
When: Sunday, Oct. 13, 6 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Where: Sun Life Stadium, 2267 NW 199th Street, Miami Gardens
Tickets: Admission into the parade and/or concert: $22 in advance and more at the gate, children under 12 are free. VIP Tickets: $100 online
Following the parade, a concert featuring the 2013 Soca Monarch & Road March King Superblue and some of Soca and Chutney heavyweight singers and bands will take place. Performers include: Raymond Ramnarine, Sir Oungku, Ravi B, Shal Marshall, Nutron, Supa Jigga, TC, Yankee Boy, Chucky, Nisha B and Kimmy, all backed up by Red Hot Flames, Dil-E-Nadan and Karma. Enjoy Caribbean food, drinks, arts and crafts and a kid zone at the event.
