Miami Brothers Create Unisex Urban and Artsy Tees

Coconut Grove resident Alex Tamargo, 33, and his brother Dax, 20, love Miami’s urban and art culture so much they decided to create unisex shirts that showcase it. Brand One Three is the name of the duo's label which launched this September. “My brother always wanted to do shirts. He would always go to concerts and different events and thought he could do something to show what Miami life is like,” said Alex. While most of the tees are inspired from Dax’s love of hip hop, some of the shirts like the Secret Society also bare an artsy side stemming from Alex’s photography. "I put some of my photographs on the shirts," said Alex who runs and owns photo company called Alta Images. Tees retail from $20 and up are available online at brandonethree.com
