The eight-day literary feast opens with the Evenings With series, featuring six nights of readings and discussions with noted authors from the U.S. and around the world. Also showcases the Street Fair, Nov. 13-15, the highlight of which is the Festival of Authors, with more than 350 author readings and discussions. Thousands of South Florida schoolchildren kick off the Street Fair, making the trip downtown Friday, Nov. 13, to hear authors and participate in Children’s Alley activities, including theater, arts-and-crafts, storytelling and readings by children’s book authors. Comix Galaxy presents a school of comics on Friday, Nov. 13, and a section for kids and teens, plus presentations over the weekend by renowned graphic novelists and illustrators. More than 250 publishers and booksellers exhibit and sell books during Street Fair weekend; Nov. 8-15
