Bring the kids to the Meet the Leaders event this Saturday, October 24th, to help bring awareness to the Green movement. It all takes place at the Coverings Creative Complex and includes activities for children starting at 4 p.m. that leads up to a panel discussion where children can ask questions to present leaders, including the Mayor of the City of Miami Manny Diaz.
There will be performances at "Arts in the Park," free pizza from Pizza Fusion, story time, and a presentation on how plastic is destroying Mother Earth by Ban the Bag.
The event is free - but bring as many plastic bags as you can to get in - they'll be used as part of an art installation. Make sure to RSVP to a.morales@klme.org
