Meet Miami's most mysterious dinner

Looking for a dining adventure? Consider Wynwood's Copperbox Atelier dinner series. Presented by Chef Gabriela Machado, the 24-person meals promote the "mindful savoring of food, wine and good company." Machado creates a new multi-course menu with wine flight each month (details are top secret) for up to 24 guests per evening. Book the entire restaurant Friday through Wednesday or reserve an individual seat Thursdays for $125 per person. The evening begins at 7:3pm with "artisan bubbles" and hors d'oeuvres, then moved onto a five-course seasonal menu with wine flight.

Machado explains the motivation behind Copperbox: "I have been cooking for about 12 years in high-volume catering, owning my own gourmet & prepared foods shop, working & traveling as a private chef. After traveling the world, and studying my favorite chefs and their operations, I took the time to think about what it is that really moves me as a Chef and a business owner… it turns out that what really moves me is experiencing the joy and satisfaction of a guest first-hand… listening to the flow of conversation as it softens and becomes more lively, seeing the smiles that comes to peoples’ faces after a truly satisfying bite of something I created… something that makes people stop, live in the moment and appreciate it...Copperbox gives me freedom and space so I can keep improving and growing as a Chef and a person"
