About

In its first incarnation this restaurant, then called Mendoza, was Mediterranean. For its second incarnation, still called Mendoza, focus shifted to Argentine cuisine. Now rechristened Marinheiro, it claims to be, as its name suggests, Portuguese. Not a single dish on the menu, however, is recognizeably Portuguese by name (though by description or default, six could be close). Otherwise, a Caprese salad? A picanha? Tournedos Wellington? A tunafish sandwich? A most intriguing Portuguese eatery, for sure.
