I absolutely love this place, the sushi is the best! The rolls are huge, try the rainbow roll or the shrimp tempura roll or get them both

This sushi restaurant has been packing diners in since the early 1990s, and there’s good reason for its longevity. It doesn’t serve inventive designer sushi like Bond Street or SushiSamba, nor does it regularly feature an unusual variety of exotic seafood (like Matsuri’s two or three varieties of toro). Mostly makis are the standard combos everyone serves. The fare just seems a bit more impeccably sparkling fresh; the presentation a bit more elegant and clean; the craftsmanship more polished. Maiko’s not Nobu, but it’s arguably the best neighborhood sushi restaurant in South Beach.
