Ramen arrives in Midtown Oct 15 as Machiya Ramen Noodle House opens on NE 1 Ave. Enjoy Japanese small plates, sashimi, salads and six types of signature ramen dishes, all billed as "Japanese comfort food." Menu highlights include steamed rock shrimp buns, sake roast black cod, tuna "pizza," grilled octopus (pictured) and ramen laced with custard chicken, snow crab, black truffle, miso braised short rib and pork belly. Wash it all down with Yuzo Drop cocktails (Ketel Citron, Japanese citrus and Cointreau) and prepare to linger - Machiya will be open till 12am Sunday-Thursday and 2am Friday and Saturday. 3250 NE 1 Ave, Miami; 786-507-5025.
