This small , chic spot is good for French pastries and paninni plus charcuterie and cheese plates, salads, sandwiches, quiche and specials like filet mignon with green peppercorn sauce, steak tartare with frites and grilled mahi-mahi with fennel. A glass case holds trays of jewel like mini merengue macarons sandwiched with ganache in flavors like raspberry, rose petal, pistachio, coconut, chocolate and vanilla. There’s also charlottes, fruit tarts, chocolate hazel nut mousse and Paris Brest ( praline butter cream piped in almond choux pastry shell). The pain poilane sourdough is flown in from France every few day, ensuring fresh bead for the open face tartine sandwiches (try ham, brie and butter or artichokes with tapenade).
