Keys for a Cause
These keys open doors and they change lives too
11/6/2012
Sometimes the most beautiful things come from the mundane. So was the case when singer and actress Caitlin Crosby picked up her hotel key in New York and decided to put a string through it and wear it as as a necklace one day. The move sparked a fashion idea and Crosby began rummaging around for used keys and engraving them with inspirational words. During Crosby's music tours she began selling the keys called The Giving Keys from city to city and the trend caught on. Soon she had celebs like AnnaLynne McCord, Ashley Greene, Emma Roberts, Joe Jonas, Kellan Lutz and Michelle Williams donning her creations. Today they keys are not only necklaces, but also bracelets. They retail from $35 and up and you can custom make your key as well. They've helped homless get off the streets and more. Check out: www.thegivingkeys.com
