Jugofresh Pop Up for Basel

 

The juice is loose in Wynwood with a jugofresh pop up shop just for Art Basel.

The endless streams of soirees! The free-flowing liquor! The never-ending networking! The sleep deprivation! We here at Miami.com know that Art Basel (shouldn’t it be renamed Art Boozel?) does not do a body good. With that said, a jaunt to the jugofresh pop up in Wynwood is a must.

Yep, South Beach’s favorite organic juice and smoothie bar, jugofresh, sets up shop this week in Miami’s edgy Wynwood Art District. As the world’s most noteworthy art show moves into town, jugofresh will serve up an exclusive menu of cold pressed juices and healthy eats from inside a pop-up location that doubles as its own art installation.
 
Beginning Thursday, December 6th, gallery-goers and fair-hoppers will enjoy a selection of fresh-made juices and good-for-you snacks from the South Beach spot known for creative concoctions such as the Saca Lo Todo, Mylk Shake and P.A.M.pered Ginger. New items, including the Skinny G, the BCC and the Supa Dupa Vert will debut at the pop-up alongside a selection of limited time food offerings such as Quinoa Bowl Vietnam, Quinoa Bowl Japan and Almond Chocolate Halvah. Made with the freshest selection of globally sourced organic ingredients, each jugofresh blend is carefully crafted to deliver a most satisfying package of nutritional must-haves.
 
Homegrown entrepreneur, Matt Sherman, will introduce the jugofresh pop-up as a spin-off of his Miami Beach flagship that has captured the attention of both the local community and international visitors. The Wynwood space will be transformed into an art-infused shop that appeals to the design-savvy – and to those looking to stay refreshed and energized during the city’s most buzzed about week.
 
“The jugofresh pop-up will offer a way for the Art Basel crowd to be healthy without having to take a break from all the action,” said Sherman. “We felt it was important to incorporate a strong artistic element that would speak to the people who embrace everything this week is about."
 
Local designer and HGTV star Mark Diaz was commissioned to give the jugofresh pop-up its Art Basel-worthy flare. The interior of the space will feature reclaimed Wyoming fence wood selected to match that of the flagship location on Miami Beach’s West Avenue. Custom wallpaper by New York-based Flavor Paper will cover acrylic walls and present an oversized jewel-tone geometric print designed exclusively for the jugofresh pop-up. Printed on a backlit material, the wallpaper will glow from behind – a concept inspired by the inner/outer glow results from consuming fresh pressed juice. A series of circular, convex mirrors will adorn the ceiling. Outside the building, murals by local artist Douglas Hoekzema will cover the east and west walls.
 
The jugofresh pop-up is located at 82 NE 29th Street in Wynwood. The shop will be open December 6th – 9th from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily.
