Which is why her creations often have whimiscal story book influences. “My greatest inspiration is from my sisters, my mother, poetry and nature- my best accomplice,” said Aguilera. Her eponymous line Varelli Designs uses exotic gemstones from her native countries Bolivia and Brazil to fashion rings, bracelets and earrings on 18k gold.
