Enjoy air-conditioned seating on the main deck, or go al-fresco on the top deck. Although it’s family friendly, there is a full bar featuring premium drinks, soda, water and snacks for purchase with cash or credit card.  Island Queen Cruises runs Monday- Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults and $17 for children.  For discounted tickets, purchase online.

GONE FISHING

Perhaps your idea of a water experience includes a rod and a reel? No worries. Fishing charters are offered for everything from Ultra Light to Monster fishing. Complete with charter captains and mates, you can head for the backcountry, inshore and offshore spots. And these guys know how to make a big catch – their fishing yacht "The Anejo", captained by Joe Turner, won consecutive “Miami Dolphins Charity fishing tournament” in June, 2009.

SPEED THRILLS
Want something a bit different for your water tour of Miami? Then head out on the Bayside Blaster – a 65-foot speedboat replica that provides narrated tours in English and Spanish. The Blaster holds up to 75 people, soft drinks, water and snacks are available for purchase, and if you want a private tour you can request a private charter. The Blaster runs Saturday and Sunday at 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
