Indochino brings affordable custom suits to Miami with Traveling Tailor pop-up
Get sized and styled in 30 minutes or less through the weekend
Always wanted a custom made suit, but were afraid it was too expenisve or you found taking your measurements too much of a challenge?
Leave it to a popular menswear website to streamline the process and create an enjoyable experience for the fashion-conscious male.
Indochino was founded in 2007 by two college students who couldn't find suits that fit. Seven years later their website is the leader in custom online menswear.
Through this weekend (Feb. 16) Indochino's first Miami pop-up - Traveling Tailor - will be at McCormick Place (1111 SW 3rd St.) in Brickell where men can make an appointment, get measured and then hand pick the fabrics, linings, and stitching for their suit. (You can even have the inside of your jacket monogrammed.) The process is smooth and simple, takes no more than 30 minutes, and in the process your online profile with your measurements is created.
And don't think there is an upsell when it comes to all the details- like pen pockets, vent slits, and lapel stitching. It is all included in the price of the suit, no matter which level of quality fabric you end up selecting. (And there are more than plenty of styles to choose.)
Indochino is also holding a special where you get one free custom shirt for every custom suit you buy. (Yes, they make custom shirts, too, along with ties and assorted apparel which are all on display at the Traveling Tailor.) Suits start at $449 and shirts at $79 and all orders include free shipping worldwide. The suits are made in Hong Kong.
“Indochino is all about helping guys get dressed to look and feel great,” said Kyle Vucko, Indochino Co-Founder and CEO. “Miami is an art hotspot and a cultural melting pot, and we’re excited to see the flair Miami men can bring to our custom suits.”
Some of that "flair" is on display at the Traveling Tailor, with an only-available-in-Miami seersucker suit with blue pinstripes and more colorful suits made out of chino cloth.
