Trick, treat and feast on our Halloween eats 2009...

  • Get the party started early with ghosts, goblins and free flowing cocktails Thursday (Oct 29) at Miami.com’s Masquerade Party at the Setai. Expect beats from DJ crystal, a fashion show and a tapas menu beginning at $12. The fun begins at 9, with an extra bonus for early birds - complimentary cocktails from V Georgio vodka from 9-10pm.   • Come Saturday afternoon, get neighborhoody with Mimo's Halloween-themed Taste of MiMo from noon to 5pm. A dozen restaurants along Biscayne between 50 & 78 will be serving $2-$5 tastings while the association hosts costume contests, a putt-putt party and more.
  • Spend Halloween gawking streetside at Lincoln Road’s Meat Market. Chef/owner Sean Brasel is dishing out a $75 Halloween-inspired price fix menu and a prime view of SoBe antics. Expect pumpkin bisque, crispy crab tail, a kobe beef slide duo, a Halloween root beer float and more.
  • Also on Lincoln Sushi Samba rings in the holiday with a haunted house Bring kids in costume for Japanese candy treats or leave them at home to enjoy music from the house DJ and dessert specials like the Chocolate Grave with Crème Brulee Foam or the Bloody Berries.
  • Get international with a trip to the Alliance Francaise's Halloween brunch. from 10am-2pm enjoy charcuterie and cheese plates, regular and chocolate croissants, sweet crepes and more. $20 adults, $10 kids, call 305-859-8760 for info.
  • Cascata Grille at the Fairmont Turnberry Isle gets "spooktacular" with a three-course themed dinner Saturday night.   • Celebrate in Doral at Olivos with a free glass of sangria for anyone in costume and a special Halloween menu.
