Bored of the bar scene? Tired of coming up with clever screen names on internet hook-up sites? Then check out Stylus Gay Speed Dating by Stylus Introductions, a gay owned and operated dating service.
This is how it works. You will talk to your date for a set period of time (3 minutes). You figure out if you’d like to meet him/her again. At the end of time, you rate your date with a simple “yes” or a “no” on a score card provided by the Stylus Introductions team. You then move on to your next date. At the end of the night, you return your score card. Within a few days, you're contacted with details for all your “matches” – where both you and your date marked “yes” for each other.
The next Stylus event will be held at Georgie's Albi 2266 Wilton Dr. in Fort Lauderdale on October 4 at 5:15 p.m.
Reservations are required and costs $39. Drinks and hors d'oeuvres are included in the price.
The speed dating concept isn't new, but you never know who you might meet.
