The lowdown: Leave it to the designers at Amsterdam-based G-Star Raw to create a pair of 3D jeans. Yes, 3D. The label’s Arc 3D dungarees are designed to create a lean look and hug in all the right places. Also up for keeps at G-Star are men and women’s tees, shorts, jackets and knits.
The ‘hood: Nestled inside behemothic Aventura Mall, G-Star Raw is located on the second floor outside of Nordstrom. Adriano Goldschmied and Zingara are the shop's immediate neighbors.
The ambience: Think street meets chic. Concrete floors, contemporary seating, bare metals and unfinished woods create a raw feel. Quirky faux rhinoceroses adorn the walls, adding a fun factor.
Highlights: While denim is the crux of this brand, their Midnight Short Biker Jacket is a closet staple for Miami gals while the Fleet Jacket is just right for Magic City blokes.
