Located on the quieter uptown end of Ocean Drive, the Penguin Hotel’s protected front porch has long been a locals’ favorite spot for hanging out and hangover recovery, over breakfast or brunch. Portions are huge, prices are relatively low for Sobe, the vibe’s friendly (even kid-friendly), server attitude is minimal, and the fresh o.j., French toast with walnuts, and egg dishes are terrific.
