If you like music, this is a great weekend for you. You can hear free music day and night, whether your taste runs to country, classical, jazz or Latin music.
The 26th annual Las Olas Art Fair (Part II) is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in Fort Lauderdale, and the South Beach Studio Crawl is Saturday night on Lincoln Road.
Free outdoor movies are at 7 p.m. Friday at the North Shore Park Band Shell ("Rudy") or 8 p.m. Friday at the Hollywood ArtsPark ("Glory Road").

Party all weekend in Coral Gables
Miracle Mile in Coral Gables becomes a carnival this weekend, when Carnaval on the Mile takes over. More than 30 bands will play on three stages, and there will be food, kids' activities, art and all kinds of fun. The event is 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Visit Brazil in North Miami
The South Florida group BraSoul will be the featured performers at Friday night's free concert at the Museum of Contemporary Art in North Miami. The museum is open by donation from 7 to 10 p.m., and the music starts at 8 p.m. Musicians Paloma Dueñas and Indio Jackson will perform songs by Djavan, Gilberto Gil, Bob Marley, Michael Jackson and others, all with a Brazilian flair.
Rock out with country sounds in Weston
A free outdoor concert in the park in Weston will feature the Charlie Daniels Band, the award-winning country star, with special guest Wet Willie, with southern rock and blues sounds. The family-friendly event starts at 7 p.m. at Weston Regional Park.
Classical casual on the lawn
This month's free New World Symphony Wallcast will feature works by Mozart and Vivaldi. Miami Beach’s SoundScape will project the symphony on a 7,000-square-foot wall. The event is at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Free visits to museums in Miami-Dade and Broward
Anyone with a Bank of America or Merrill Lynch credit or debit card can get one free entry Saturday or Sunday to the Perez Art Museum Miami, the Miami Children's Museum, Miami Science Museum, Museum of Contemporary Art and the Bass Museum of Art. In Broward, the program includes the Fort Lauderdale Museum of Discovery and Science, the Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale and the IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame and Museum. That's all through the Museums on Us program, which provides free admission to museums nationwide the first weekend of every month. Friday nights are always free at The Wolfsonian, and Saturdays are always free at the Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU. And, admission is free every day at the Patricia and Phillip Frost Art Museum at FIU.
