Brande Roderick went head to head with Donald Trump on Celebrity Apprentice, hung out on the beach in Baywatch: Hawaii and posed for Playboy (2001 Playmate of the Year), but these days she is dealing with other pressing matters. Namely motherhood. At home: two boys, Keaton who turns 2 next month and 8-month old Kannon. Dad is former NFL player Glenn Cadrez. “I’m kind of preparing myself for the Terrible Twos,’’ she says from her home in San Diego.

“We’ll see what happens.’’ Despite her handful, Roderick will be front and center 6-9 p.m. Friday when she joins local philanthropist Arthur E. Benjamin and his non-profit organization, American Dog Rescue, as part of the 6th Annual Boca Raton Concours d’ Elegance duPont Registry Hangar Party. Former Saturday Night Live star Dana Carvey is the featured comedian the following night during the gala at the Boca Raton Resort & Club.

Yup, she’s got dogs, too. A 13-year-old cocker spaniel, Mercedes, whom Roderick has had since she was an 8 week old puppy; Buster the French bulldog is 5. Even though Roderick, 37, lives in balmy San Diego, she was looking forward to the trip, to wind down and reconnect with friends like Alicia Piazza, a fellow Playmate who is married to baseball great Mike Piazza. “I’m really excited. We’re going to take a day to go out on the water and go boating,’’ Roderick says. “I couldn’t ask for a better thing: going out on the water in Miami in the month of February.’’ Roderick was planning on tuning into a new season of Celebrity Apprentice, which premiered Sunday. “For me that was a great experience,’’ she explains. “It was very challenging: 18 hour days for five weeks’ straight. But I loved every minute.’’

General admission to the party is $50. The event benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County. 888-302-5439, www.bocaratonconcours.com
