From those to blame for Keeping Up With the Kardashians is Best Ink, a new reality show on the Oxygen network in which 12 tattoo artists compete against each other for a cash prize. Bunim/Murray Productions is hosting an open casting from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Burger and Beer Joint, 1766 Bay Road, Miami Beach. Aspiring contestants must be 21 or over and bring a recent picture, photo ID and photos of their best ink. Those who can't make it can do the same by e-mailing bestinkcasting@bunim-murray.com with name, city, photos and short bio.

Seen having dinner and drinks Saturday night at Eden: ex-catcher Mike Piazza and former Marlin/current Cincinnati Red Edgar Renteria as well as America's Most Wanted's John Walsh and Ludacris, all at separate tables. After dinner, Ludacris was seen talking to Walsh.

Speaking of Ludacris, he made the rounds last week, stopping by Lime on South Beach Monday with his girlfriend, a University of Miami medical student, where he lunched on low carb tacos, chips and apple juice. The couple left in a white Cadillac SUV.

Also spotted at Lime: Alex Rodriguez and Cameron Diaz, also chowing down on low carb tacos.

Katie Couric also made the Miami rounds celebrating her birthday last week. Couric and her boyfriend Brooks Perlin dined at Lincoln Road hot spot Meat Market on Friday night. The couple sat at one of the center tables, sharing chef Sean Brasel's American Kobe ribeye. Much to the chef's delight, Couric remarked that it was one of the best steaks she ever had. The anchor was extremely friendly and personable, chatting with staff and guests, and even stopping by a table of fans to chat and take pictures on their way out.

Dining Thursday night at Perricone's before embarking on a 35-city tour: guitarist Al DiMeola. There on Sunday: Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union.

Spotted in the main lobby of the Fairmont Turnberry Isle following his concert Saturday at the BankUnited Center: Barry Manilow.

Congrats to Miami fashion designer Fabiola Arias who was awarded with a Rising Star award by Fashion Group International at a ceremony in last Thursday in New York City.

A spate of football players have been seen dining at AltaMare lately. Among them, New Orleans Saints player Jeremy Shockey, Minnesota Vikings player Bernard Berrian and Donte Whitner of the Buffalo Bills, the latter two who were in together last Friday.

In town for a show Saturday at the Arsht Center, author Peter Sagal from NPR's Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me got the last flight out of Chicago before the monster storm Tuesday night and headed to Michael's Genuine Food & Drink for dinner.
