Falling in step with practically every other critics' group thus far, the Florida Film Critics Circle, which is comprised of 19 film journalists from around the state (including The Miami Herald's Rene Rodriguez and Connie Ogle), bestowed its biggest honors on the juggernaut The Social Network, which nabbed Best Picture, Best Director (with David Fincher beating out Darren Aronofsky by one vote) and Best Adapted Screenplay for Aaron Sorkin.

Colin Firth was named Best Actor for The King's Speech (opening Dec. 25), while Natalie Portman won Best Actress for Black Swan. The Fighter's Christian Bale and Melissa Leo snagged the Best Supporting Actor/Actress trophies.

Christopher Nolan's Inception won four awards (more than any other film), earning Best Original Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Visual Effects and Best Cinematography. The Italian melodrama I Am Love, starring Tilda Swinton, was named Best Foreign Language Film.

Toy Story 3 got Best Animated Feature, while The Tillman Story was named Best Documentary. Winter's Bone's Jennifer Lawrence earned this year's Breakout Award. Matthew Curtis, programming director of Orlando's Florida Film Festival, which is in its 19th year, earned the Golden Orange award for his contributions to film culture in Florida.

BERNSTEIN ON `TODAY'

Michelle Bernstein is set to appear on the Today show 9:50 a.m. Tuesday to gab about crab, among other things.

The local restaurateur (Sra Martinez, Michy's) will show how to make seasonal dishes like chestnut soup, roasted calabaza salad and a newfangled combo of spaghetti and crabmeat. ``It's a take on classic clams and spaghetti,'' says Bernstein, 42.

WHO'S THAT GUY?

Spotted at the Fins vs. Bills game Sunday: Johnny Depp and girlfriend Vanessa Paradis. The Tourist star requested that no photog know he was there and waited until all the fans cleared before he left, reports Page2Live.com.
