The Upper Eastside Garden is partnering with the MiMo Biscayne Association to celebrate the historic designation of Miami’s MiMo (Miami Modern) Biscayne Boulevard Historic District; Miami’s newest, largest, and first historic commercial district. The festivities are taking place May 2, the Friday evening prior to Cinco de MiMo and the garden will be transformed into a Mexican marketplace for a fun Fiesta en el Jardin! Get into the spirit, come drink a margarita courtesy of Cazadores Tequila or a Grolsch beer, and play la loteria to win prizes from businesses in the MiMo District. Come dressed up as Frida Kahlo for a chance to win sculptures by Pepe Mar designed especially for the event.
