It’s a good weekend for sensual souls whose minds are always in the gutter, or for couples just looking to add a spark to their sex life. The Exxxotica Expo 2014, billed as “The Largest Event in the U.S.A. Dedicated to Love and Sex,” hits Fort Lauderdale from Friday through Sunday.
The three-day kinkfest is chock full of fun for the erotically obsessed. There are dozens of useful seminars (and some that seem downright silly): Breaking Into the Biz, A Girl’s Guide to Picking the Perfect Sex Toy, Webcamming For Fun & Profit, Joanna Angel’s Guide to Butt Sex, A Day as a Dominatrix, and even Grow Your Own Penis (no, really).
But it’s the appearances by porn superstars that really wets most fans’ whistles. You’ll be able to meet sexy screen legends, starting with the top dog, Ron “The Hedgehog” Jeremy, who holds the Guinness World Record for Most Appearances in Adult Films, with more than 2,000 and counting. And it’s not even close: The late John Holmes comes in second with a mere 384.
More than 150 additional household names (well, for some households, that is) will be on hand, such as January 2014 Penthouse Pet of the Month Allie Haze, Aedan Rayne, Natalie Lust, Dakota Skye, Evan Stone, Sydney Leathers, Kiara Knight (no, not actress Keira Knightley, so calm down), Raven Rockette, Aspen Rae, Sheridan Love, Tori Black, Lexi Belle, Robert Frost (not the poet – he died in 1963), Phoenix Marie and Tera Patrick, plus a handful of Hussie models including Anya Ivy, Alaina Kristar, Alex Tanner and Brooklyn Daniels. Safe to say most of these names aren’t the ones Mama gave ‘em.
For the ladies (free on Friday), there are burlesque performances featuring the Hurly Burly All Male Revue, and stage shows by the super-buff Badboys Australia, whose abs and pecs look like they were sculpted out of steel. For the practical shoppers among the prurient crowd, there will be more sex toys for sale than you could shake a stick at, plus sensual furniture (use your imagination). And if you think you’re hot stuff, you can apply to join the fierce competition to be crowned Ms. Exxxotica, and walk away with $1,000.
Prefer your porn a little on the wilder side? Dare to enter the Dungeon, which caters to fetishists and features performances by Mistress C., Crimson Rose and Carla X.
Whew! If you need some recovery time from all things arousing, find respite in the Street Kings Car Show or the performance by rock/rap fusion group Web Three.
Obviously, this event isn’t for everybody. But if it sounds stimulating, whether you’re a seasoned sex aficionado or a curious novice in the vast world of adult pleasures, the Exxxotica Expo is sure to satisfy all your desires. And where else can you find people walking around with fun names such as Diamond Kitty, Alexis Texas, Lucky Vicky and Ryan Driller?
