Fridays at Le Cafe in the MIMO district are heating up. Live music, French Bistro Fare, cool crowd. 73rd and biscayne.

The Forge is awesome on wednesdays. The menu has been updated and is still very pricey. Great dinner party to take out of towners. I regret to inform that B.E.D is DEAD. It was the coolest place about seven years ago. BLADE is gorgeous but be ready to wait quite a while for 1 single watered down drink. The service blows. Staff members are clueless and bartenders annoyingly slow. RA Sushi, is just soo tacky that is not even funny. Maybe that new swanky steakhouse MEAT MARKET should be on the list for its wed soirees... along the not-so-new Blue Door at the Delano on tuesdays. ... Read more

I have eaten at 4 of the restaurants featured and I must say they are great! There is something for everyone on this list! Great article.

The food at Grass is great and the vibe is nice too.

I must say, I have eaten at every single restaurant mentioned here and love their food. I research before I write any of my stories and choose my words wisely. Then again, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. That's what Miami.com is for. And no, the picture isn't mine. Glad you read the story!... Read more

Every one of these 'restaurants' has bad, bad, food. I do not believe you have eaten at any of them. Even the 'classic green salad' at Grass is terrible. Please eat at restaurants before you recommend them. And enough already with 'posh'. I think the photo tells you everything you need to know about The Forge, et. al. And the word 'posh' doesn't exactly 'pop out'. Unless of course that's the author photo, in which case I apologize, Aurora.... Read more

Long gone are the days in Miami when the term "dinner party" meant a cheap bottle of Pinot and a few prepared food items from Whole Foods, all in hopes of impressing friends with that new IKEA table in that new posh loft rental. Nowadays, everyone from posh socialites to sporty college students are making their way to some of Miami's top restaurants and resto-lounges in hopes of turning dinner into an all-night party. "Dinner parties are fun, especially when you mix in Miami's hip and sexy crowd," said B.E.D. owner Lance Tinkler. "People love to socialize and eat with others. It will always be that way. Who likes to eat alone? No one."
