Let the green beer & good times flow. There’s no better excuse to duck out of work early than St. Patty’s Day – and the Magic City is rolling out the green carpet…

  • The Gables’ John Martin’s is hosting its 20th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Street Fair. Beginning at 5pm, head to Salzedo and Aragon for live Irish music, a U2 tribute show and Irish specialties like stuffed chicken, corned beef & cabbage, bangers & mash and Bailey’s ice cream. Also in the neighborhood, Titanic Restaurant & Brewery celebrates with Irish red ale, green beer and traiditional Irish cuisine.
  • Brickell takes a half day as the Brickell Irish Pub, Segafredo Brickell & Guinness partner up to throw a street festival filled with green beer, two stages of live bands & DJs and BBQ aplenty. Looking for some alternate action in the neighborhood? Finnegan’s on the River woos with water views, a DJ and drink specials from 5pm on. Waxy O’Connor’s celebrates all day with Irish music, beer specials, corned beef & hash and other culinary delights.
  • The party runs all day at Clarke’s. Start the morning with a Bushmill’s & Bailey’s breakfast (Irish toast, $2 shots of Bushmill’s or Bailey’s and $3 pints of Guinness) from 9-11am then come back for special lunch and dinner menus throughout the day.
  • La Marea channels some eco-friendly Irish blood Wednesday as it launches its Go Green, 100 Miles or Less cocktail in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. Every ingredient in the $12 cocktail is sourced within 100 miles of the Ocean Drive restaurant. Gin from Artisan Brands; honeycomb from Homestead and spearmint, key lime and cucumber from Paradise Farms (also in Homestead).
