Diet Coke Gets New Look Thanks to Miami Student
Gustavo Alonso's creation will be sold at Target
8/25/2012
In an effort to align itself with the fashion community, Diet Coke recently held a design contest called the Diet Coke Young Designer Challenge. The contest required creating an illustration to represent Diet Coke's new logo for a shirt. The new logo features a giant "D" and "K". Miami International University of Art & Design student, Gustavo Alonso, won. His creation will be sold at Target stores nationwide starting September 3. The tee which features a woman in a high-collared red coat, black tights and skyscraper high red pumps was voted the best by famed designers Zac Posen, Cynthia Rowley and L’Wren Scott.
