Not sure how this got past me but Crazy Heart star Jeff Bridges (one of my favorite actors of all time) is said to be getting serious Oscar buzz for his performance as a down-on-his-luck country music singer.
The film, due out in mid-Decmeber, is stacked with a stellar cast including the oh-so-fall-in-loveable Maggie Gyllenhaal (bathed in perfect yellow light throughout; check the trailer above) and Robert Duvall as Bridges' daddy.
Is it just me or is Fox Searchlight the best studio on the planet these days?
