CosPlay at Sushi Samba

Halloween starts early this year as SushiSamba Dromo celebrates its 3rd annual Cosplay Party. The theme Cosplay, a play on words combining costume and play started in Japan and has become hugely popular in the US; it refers to dressing up in costumes that resemble Japanese anime, manga, Sci-Fi/ Fantasy, and video game characters, how cool is that?!

Sushi Samba’s Cosplay festivities will feature an interactive performance by Circ X, the Miami based performance group taking the US by storm. Their acts are sexy, hilarious, and out of this world, combining a mix of burlesque, mime, street theatre, and dance for an unforgettable show. DJ Ani Phearce and Richard Vasquez will set mood on the turn tables as you sip away on the signature cocktail of the week the Kobocha Temperado; an orange-colored cocktail with a layer of white foam, topped off with shaved cinnamon; delish! Its going to be one vibrant night complete with a $1000 cash prize for the best costume; its time to get creative and bring out your inner anime at Cosplay!
