It’s time for romance and sensual cocktails

It’s the time for romance, and what better way to celebrate than with a cocktail that seduces your senses? The Fontainebleau offers two limited-edition drinks known as the vanilla-tinged Apple of my Eye and the sweet Box of Chocolates, only served on Valentine’s Day week and prepared by on-property spirits guru, Cynthia Harshaw.

Christine Lees at the Village of Gulfstream Park is also offering a tangy X-Rated Fusion Liqueur sip at their bar known simply as XOXO. Stop by with your sweetie at these spots or enjoy these sips at home.

APPLE OF MY EYE

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice
Add 1.5 ounces of Stolichnaya Vanila
Add .75 punces of Boulard Calvados apple brandy
Add .25 ounces of Monin Green Apple syrup
Add .25 ounces of Canton Ginger
Add .25 ounces of Rock Candy Syrup
Squeeze juice of 1/2 lemon
Shake to mix
Strain mix into cocktail glass
Garnish with apple slice

BOX OF CHOCOLATES

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice
Add 1 ounce of Van Gogh Dutch chocolate vodka
Add .5 ounces of Van Gogh Vanilla vodka
Add .5 ounces of Godiva Milk chocolate
Add .5 ounces of Godiva Original Dark chocolate
Add .5 ounces of Marie Brizard Dark cacao
Cap and shake to mix
Strain mix into cocktail glass
Garnish with a whole chocolate strawberry

Prepare a cocktail shaker filled with ice
Add 1.5 ounces of SKYY Infusions Passion Fruit
Add 1 ounce of X-Rated Fusion Liqueur
Add 1 ounce of Passion Fruit Puree
Add a splash of sour
Strain and serve in a martini glass
