Love margaritas and tequila but seeking something different this Cinco de Mayo? Then head on over to Talavera for a sip of their Talavera Hibiscus Margarita-Maria Felix, a fresh concoction featuring aloe vera juice and hibiscus tea, created by Talavera mixologist Damian St. Larence.

Talavera Hibiscus Margarita – Maria Felix
Prepare a cocktail shaker filled with ice
Add 2 ounces of Tequila 100 percent Agave Azul Tequilana Weber
Add ½ an ounce of fresh lime juice
Add ½ an ounce of aloe vera juice
Add ½ an ounce of sugar water
Add 1 ounce of hibiscus tea
Shake
Serve on a cold martini glass (Salt-rim optional)
Garnish with a lime wedge

Big Nose
Prepare a cocktail shaker filled with ice
Add 1 ounce of Orgeat
Add 1 ounce of lime juice
Add 1 ounce of guava puree
Add ½ an ounce of dark rum
Add 1 ounce of blanco tequila
Add 1 ounce of reposado tequila
Shake
Serve into a chilled and short cocktail glass
Garnish with hibiscus salt and a pressed lime
Top off with high proof rum

CORZO Evolutionary Margarita
Prepare a cocktail shaker filled with ice
Muddle 6-8 small chunks of your choice of pepper (yellow, red or orange)
Add 2 parts Corzo Reposado Tequila
Add ½ a part Grand Marnier
Add ½ parts of agave nectar
Add 3/4 parts fresh lime juice
Shake well
Strain over ice in a rocks glass
Garnish with a pepper “flag” and lime “bow tie” and optional salt rim
Maracas Margarita
Prepare a cocktail shaker filled with ice
Add 1 ounce of 1800 Select Silver Tequila
Add .25 ounces of pear puree
Add .25 ounces of fresh lime juice
Add .25 ounces of agave nectar
Add a splash of Chambord
Shake well
Serve into a chilled cocktail glass
Squeeze in two limes
1800 Frío Limonada
Prepare a cocktail shaker
Muddle six medium-sized mint leaves into the bottom the shaker
Add 1.5 ounces of 1800 Silver Tequila
Add 1 ounce of fresh lemon juice
Add 1 ounce of simple syrup
Add 1 ounce of club soda
Add ice
Shake well
Strain over fresh ice in a tall cocktail glass
Garnish with lemon wheels
