The staff is very personable, and if you know what to order, the food can be quite fantastic! The fries are some of the best in town, by the way. For beers, the Cooper Pale Ale or the Brooklyn Lager is a personal favorite. Most of all, if you want the most diverse crowd in Miami, maybe even Florida, go to Churchill's. Don't expect razzle-dazzle from this neighborhood English pub. Do expect good indie music mixed with honest rock n' roll, live bands, pool and cheapo curry nights. Along with the portrait of Winston Churchill and the double-decker bus out front, the dark, grimy interior just adds to the charm. Come in and enjoy a refreshingly unpretentious place where you can let your hair down and have a drink without worrying about reapplying your lipstick. Bonus: Miami's only indie rock record store, Sweat Records, is in the back.
