Christina Aguilera: a hot, drunken mess

Christina Aguilera has been released from jail after being arrested for public drunkenness.

Christina Aguilera has been released from jail after being arrested for public drunkenness.

Good news: Authorities don’t plan to seek criminal charges.

L.A. County sheriff’s Deputy Bill McSweeney says the 30-year-old singer was in a car driven by her boyfriend that was stopped on a West Hollywood street at about 2:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Matthew Rutler, 25, was booked on suspicion of DUI after cops noticed he was weaving. He was sprung after posting $30,000 bail. McSweeney says Aguilera appeared extremely intoxicated and incapable of driving home and was taken to the station to dry out. She was released out a back gate around 7:30 a.m. Can you say hangover?

New to the ballroom

They’re heeeeere. The Season 12 cast of Dancing with the Stars, that is.

The foot-fancy lineup: The men are rapper Lil’ Romeo, boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard, original Karate Kid Ralph Macchio, wrestler Chris Jericho, football player Hines Ward and Loveline host Mike Catherwood. As for the gals, there’s Disney actress Chelsea Kane, model Petra Nemcova, reality star Kendra Wilkinson, talk show host Wendy Williams and forever-on-a-diet actress Kirstie Alley (tip: you will definitely lose weight).

His bad

John Galliano, we hardly knew ye.

Dior fired the designer after U.K.’s The Sun posted a video showing Galliano at Parisian bar La Perle making anti-Semitic remarks to a nearby couple who filed a complaint. Galliano’s (slurring) racist outburst included comments like “I love Hitler,” and “your mothers, your forefather” would all be “gassed.”

Paris prosecutors are mulling action; making anti-Semitic slurs can bring up to six months in prison.

Full house?

Charlie Sheen may have gone totally around the bend, but his hit show could go on.

Eonline.com reports that John Stamos was seen chatting recently with CBS head Les Moonves about starring in Two and Half Men. The former ER star wouldn’t take over Charlie’s role, but would be a new character.

Stamos denied the swirling rumor on Twitter posting, “I am not replacing Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men. However, Martin Sheen has asked me to be his son.’’
