Room Service
929 Washington Ave, Miami Beach
305-763-8330

The goods: Room Service replaces B.E.D Lounge with a glossy new South Beach supper club.
Ambience: Owners Richard Ford and Tamara Young have outfitted the Washington Ave space with white leather banquettes, groovy light fixtures, suspended champagne bottles, sheer white curtains and a glossy bar.
The grub: American classics with Latin touches. Executive chef Miguel Emmanuelli (Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach) oversees a kitschy, high-priced menu: Starters average $10-$19 and mains $30.
Gratis challah rolls precede appetizers like artichoke-spinach dip, steak quesadillas, coconut-panko crusted shrimp and chicken skewers. Hefty mains include ricotta-stuffed bacon-wrapped chicken, grilled salmon and an 8-ounce filet. Red velvet cake and chocolate mousse satisfy a sweet tooth.
Verdict: A clubby restaurant in the heart of SoBe nightlife.
