Celebrate South Florida Beer Week

Our burgeoning craft-beer industry has declared Jan. 19-26 South Florida Beer Week. Here are three ways to celebrate:

Riverside Market & Florida Beer Company gets a jump on things with a tap takeover at 7 p.m. Friday featuring the release of Gaspar’s Porter and Devil’s Triangle IPA. 608 SW 12th Ave, Fort Lauderdale 954-358-8333.
OTC presents $12-$15 pairings from 5pm to closing Tuesday including maduro-braised short rib and brie grilled cheese with Cigar City Maduro Brown Ale and beer-battered shrimp and corn fritters with Monk in the Trunk Belgian Amber Ale. 1250 S. Miami Ave, Miami; 305-374-4612.
The Hollywood Craft Beer Pub Crawl kicks off at 6:30pm Jan. 24 at Tipsy Boar with stops at the Native Tap Room, Whiskey Tango, The Big Easy Bar & Grille and Mickey Byrnes. A $10 donation is requested for Covenant House. Tipsy Boar: 1906 Harrison St
