Broker Boxing Foundation Event to Benefit Alonzo Mourning Charities

No sub-prime mortgage crisis is going to stop these real estate moguls from beating each other down to benefit the Alonzo Mourning Charities. The Broker Boxing Federation, founded by brokers David Goldberg and Eric Nixon to raise money for charities in the communities they serve, hosts this event at Mansion that will feature a James Brown impersonator, an intro by Alonzo Mourning and Brooke Hogan, the Miami Heat dancers and the much-anticipated “Ring Girl Competition,” where the girl who struts her stuff the best wins a $1,500 cash prize. And of course, the Main Event; an eight-bout fight card featuring several real estate heavy-weights hitting each other with more than just counter-offers. There will be an open bar and a collaborative buffet with selections from some of Miami's favorite eateries. The proceeds go to benefit the Alonzo Mourning Charities, whose goal is create youth enrichment centers in low-income areas to promote educational development.
