There are no shortage of amazing parties during Art Basel, but you're unlikely to get into one unless you're in the upper echelons of the art world or a big-time celebrity. But there's still plenty of nightlife events that are open to the public that will impress even the most jaded party animals.
Evelyn Drinkery, The Sound Table and Social Exposure Present Loft Spirits Festival
Fans of the wild parties that take over the Surfcomber during Winter Music Conference will love Loft Spirits, a series of nighttime pool parties with spectacular music and hosted by emerging artists. The festival kicks off Thursday with a performance by Angela Laino & The Trix and a set by DJ Amir Abdullah. Friday night will bring legendary DFA Records DJ Pat Mahoney as well as Jee Day and Adams & Tobeau to the stage. Saturday will have music by DJs Rich Medina, Mr. Brown and Karl Injex. Closing off the festival, Sunday will bring DJs Keen One, Induce and Lumin. Artists Jesse Laino, Miguel Paredes, Radcliffe Bailey, Baang + Burne will each host a night and showcase their artwork. Best of all, there will be free Strongbow Hard Cider if you come before 10 PM.

Supplement Facts Double-header
Record label Supplement Facts will be throwing a wild all-night two-part event taking over the Delano Beach Club and Treehouse with headliner Guy Gerber, techno DJ hailing from Tel Aviv and founder of Supplement Facts. Starting at 5 PM, Gerber will kick off the event with a Sunset Session pool party featuring sets by himself and Detroit techno favorite Ryan Crosson. Later in the evening, the party will move to Townhouse where Gerber will be joined by techno masters Matthew Dear, Bill Patrick and Mao Fonnegra.
Doors open at 5 PM on Saturday, December 7 at the Delano Beach Club (1685 Collins Ave.) at 5 PM and Treehouse Miami (323 23rd St.) at 11 PM. Party at the Delano is free and tickets for Treehouse start at $15. For more info, click here.
Red Bull Music Academy, Aquabooty Mia, The Electric Pickle & Safe Present DJ Harvey's Discotheque
The legendary DJ Harvey has brought his British brand of disco revival to some of the most prestigious events and venues in the world for thirty years. His appearance at Cafeina in Wynwood will likely be one of the highlights of his illustrious career as he will be playing a set for seven hours straight from 10 PM to 5 AM.

Klangbox.FM Presents Scaramouche: Basel Edition
Those who want to support local DJs should head over Electric Pickle for the Basel edition of Scaramouche, a regular party hosted by Internet radio station Klangbox.FM that has made its way to some of Miami's hippest venues. Playing behind the decks are local favorites Laura of Miami, Patrick Walsh, Lazaro Casanova, Dude Skywalker and the rare opportunity to see the whole crew of DHM together.

Max Fish x DKNY x DKNY Jeans x Klughaus at Radio Bar
DKNY and DKNY are bringing back to the life the historic Lower East Side bar Max Fish (which closed after 25 years this year) to Miami Beach for a limited time. The event kicks off Wednesday night at Radio Bar with a live guitar battle and a DJ set by Wilder Zobey. The following three nights will bring stellar sets by DJs Atiba Jefferson, Reid Waters, and Nelleke. In addition, NYC gallery Klughaus have brought artists Marc House, Greg Lamarche, Grotesk and Dan Sontoro to create site-specific works for the space.

Sound Vision at Aqua Art Miami
If you can't decide whether you want to go to a party or head to an art fair, you can have it both ways at Aqua Art Miami. The fair is hosting a music program encompassing the entire duration of the fair. Each day will include a playlist of unique pre-recorded mixes that will be different every day created by DJs selected by Aqua Art Miami. But the real highlight is when local and national DJs and musicians take to the Aqua stage everyday to show off their talents live that will include collaborations between artists in different genres. Among the roster scheduled to play include Jessica Who, Thomas Piper, Shes LB, Melo X and Rage Johnson.
