Want to watch the game, but struck out on tickets? We've got the spots for you.

America's Backyard

Football outdoors? What a novelty. Watch the game outdoors at this hotspot in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Besides the killer drink specials, America's Backyard will be hosting local pre and post-game radio shows. The Joe Rose Show will broadcast live on Saturdays from 7-10 p.m., and WINS and Big 105 will be there with their live sideline show on Sundays from 4-6. WQAM will also be there for post game wrapups following any Hurricanes game.

The football specials are on whenever there's a game. That includes: $12 six-packs of Miller Lite, Coors Light and Miller Genuine draft, 16 oz. drafts of Miller Lite and Coors Light for $2 (double it for a 1 liter draft), and $5 for a Jack Daniels, Bacardi silver or Bacardi cocktail.

The outdoor bar can seat 200-plus, with full capacity at 1,500.

Center Bar at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

This towering watering hole is right in the middle of one of the hippest party places in South Florida. Gamble, dine, shop, then stop here to catch some football on one of the 40 flat screen hi-def TVs.

Get $10 buckets of Miller Lite on Thursdays when you watch the college football game of the week, $6 house pitchers of beer on Saturday from noon-8 p.m.,and the following deals on Sundays: $6 house pitchers of beer, $2 house draft beer, $6 Jagermeister shots and $6 Jagermeister bombs.

On Monday, you can catch WQAM host Sid Rosenberg as he broadcasts live from 8-11 p.m. You can also get $10 premium pitchers of beer and $5 all flavored Three Olive Vodka.

The Center Bar is located at One Seminole Way in Hollywood. For more info, call 954-327-ROCK.

Flanigan’s Seafood Bar and Grill

Known for its juicy baby back ribs and delish Joe's Steakhouse soup (my fave), Flanigan's is a local hotspot that has been around for over 50 years.

You can sit at the bar, play pool (at most locations) or just snag a booth to watch the Dolphins kick butt this season - hopefully Jason Taylor's return helps propel the fish into the playoffs.

On Saturday and Sunday from noon-7 p.m., you can snag a 16 oz. of Miller Lite draft in a souvenir cup for $1.49. Miller Lite and Coors Light bottles are $2.49 a piece. The same special applies on Monday from 8:30-midnight.

Also for MNF, get a free order of loaded nachos when you purchase a pitcher of iced tea, soda, or beer. Flanigan's has all the football packages, including the DirectTV package for football on Sunday and Monday. There are large TV screens in every room.

Flanigan's has 22 locations from Stuart to Pine Crest. For more info, go to www.flanigans.net

Mr. Moe's

This cozy, log cabin in Cocount Grove is one of America's Greatest Sports Bars - according to ESPN, anyways. This place is a college hot spot where you can get some good barbecue - try the pulled pork - and watch plenty of football. With 32 flat screen TVs and four plasma screens, there's not a blind spot at Mr. Moe's.

You can get Heineken and Heineken light bottles for $3.75 each, with drafts at $3.25 - a bucket of five runs you $15. For every two beer buckets you purchase, you get a spinach dip on the house.

During Dolphins and Canes games, get five Domestic beers for $10 and five imported beers for $15.

Shuckers Bar and Grill

Football, beer and...a water view? You can get it all at this docskide restaurant in North Bay Village. There are pool tables, the complete NFL package on 22 TVs and, the viewing is first come, first serve.  That's right - are you a Vikings fan who wants to watch Brett Favre dismantle his old team on October 5. Then get there with plenty of time to spare.

Buckets of beer are $9.99 and a pitcher of Presidente is $10. In September, get a 32 oz. bucket of juice and Malibu flavored liquer for $9.99.

The Sports Exchange

Football heaven? Is there such a place? This locale was built with that idea in mind.

There's a 14-foot projector at the main bar (a 25x8 visual) surrounded by eight plasma screens showing nothing but sports - including college and NFL games. Want to sit at a table? Fire up your game there with your own personal, private speakers.

Thirsty? How about an 80 oz. keg pitcher that sits at your table with a sleeve of ice down the middle that keeps your bruski nice and cold.

This place opened in May and is already bringing in the big names - University of Miami coach Randy Shannon comes in to talk about the Hurricanes on WQAM's Hurricane Hotline show every Thursday from 7-9 p.m.

If you're a UM student, alumni or faculty member, you get 10% off your check. The Sports Exchange will also give you 10% off if your a student elsewhere - just bring your ID.

Waxy O’Connors
This authentic irish pub and eatery has it all - it shows the college games on Saturday and the NFL games on Sunday. Don't worry, Monday night football is also part of the package.

Here's the scoop: $10 pitchers of Miller Lite on Saturday and Sunday from noon-8 p.m., 25 cent wings on Sunday and Monday, and $10 pitchers of Heineken on Monday.

Waxy's also offers a Margarita flatbread with a pint of Miller Lite for $10 and $8.95 beef and turkey sliders on Saturdays and Sundays. There are eight hi-def tv's - the largest is 62 inches.
