Geisai Miami
Derived from the Japanese word for art festival, this is one of Japan's few art fairs. It began as a free-participation event in the summer of 2001 and in 2008 reached its 11th incarnation, presenting a new art-collecting concept, allowing artists to exhibit their work directly, without a commercial gallery, to an audience of collectors, curators and art enthusiasts.
